Ready for some good news? Dylan has slept through the night for 2 nights in a row. Actually, he did wake up for a moment last night but was able to put himself back to sleep. This is VERY exciting news for Mommy and Daddy. Hopefully, this trend will continue.
Dylan also surprised Mommy today by role-playing. He decided to wash Mommy's face! He would rub a towel against my face and then giggle. He did this little role-play for about 20 minutes this evening. I was excited to see him start associating these activities....now if only he could do back rubs.
As for the progress of the sale (and purchase) of the two houses, both are scheduled for inspections on Saturday morning. We are very excited to be able to get this process over with and I am also excited to say that we were also able to get the bathroom repaired. There was some condensation damage just above the shower which had the dry-wall coming up a bit. I was able to sand and patch that this morning. We are painting it tomorrow so that is one less worry to deal with! I know that this could have waited until after the inspection but given that I am a perfectionist, it was causing me to lose sleep (even with Dylan sleeping through the night!). Those that know me well will completely agree that it is so typical of me to want to have this done. (I even weeded the yard while Dylan took his nap.)
We also have all of our paperwork completed so if all goes well with the inspections, the closings will happen in mid-June. Phew.
