Big 4th of July Plans

Guess what everyone?!? Daddy has this 4th of July off this year so we are going to go to a picnic at Auntie Jodel's and Uncle Reed's house! We are so excited.

Mommy is baking some brownies and making a pasta salad while I help. I really like the brownies...I got to try them for the first time today.

Until the 4th, we are still getting situated at the new house...and it seems like EVERYTHING is breaking all at once. Mommy had to go and get a new vacuum cleaner and DVD player today since both of our old ones died (the vacuum actually started smoking). Also, we are having lawn mower troubles. Mommy broke the push mower and our riding lawn mower is not feeling good either. In fact, it looks like an easy $500 to fix it. Since it is so old, we are probably going shopping on Sunday but we haven't decided....all these expenses...ouch.

Since it also looks like I'm getting not just one tooth but three, Mommy is thinking about taking out stock in Orajel and Baby Tylenol. I haven't been too unhappy these last few days although I've certainly had my moments (for example, this morning was not so fun). That's when Mommy pulls out the drugs. So much for trying to be as natural as possible and hallelujah for Tylenol!

This weekend, other than our shopping adventures, we are pretty much taking it easy. Mommy and I are going to church Saturday night and on Sunday, we are going to the family breakfast. After breakfast on Sunday, Mommy wants to take me to a park in town that has water fountains that you can play in! Won't that be exciting! She promises lots of pictures.

Gotta go! I think the dishwasher is next in line for a breakdown....Mommy just might be teaching me some new vocabulary if this keeps up!
