Dylan had a very busy day! First, Dylan and Daddy played very hard this morning on his new slide! We posted pictures earlier but that was his first solo slide adventure. Dylan had gone down a slide at school but we usually hold on to him. This morning, he wanted to go down the slide all by himself! He did great and didn't even fall over. That says alot for the improvement in his muscle tone and we can't wait to share that with his OT therapists Janice and Eileen.
Dylan did get his Big Boy haircut at the barbershop and we absolutely promise to get pictures posted soon. Mommy can't find the charger for the camera (it's in one of these boxes somewhere) which is the reason for the delay. This isn't Dylan's first haircut...Auntie Anita did that at 3 months but this was our first trip to the barbershop. Dylan did fairly well with the exception that he was a squirmy little guy until we gave him his bottle. After that, he did a little better but was still very interested in flirting with the gal giving him the haircut.
After the haircut, Dylan got to have lunch with Mommy, Daddy, Crazy Grandma and Grandpa! It must have been good food since he fell asleep right there in the restaurant in Daddy's lap. What exactly is in those eggs?
After his nap and lunch, Dylan went shopping with Mommy. Mommy had to get a baby shower gift for her friend Shannon and she had a few detours along the way. Dylan got some new pajamas and Mommy got some maternity shorts.
After the trip to the mall, Dylan accompanied Mommy to Treasury of Memories where they were so wonderful to host a Scrapbooking Night for Down syndrome Outreach! Let me tell ya, what a great bunch of gals and Mommy is now interested in scrapbooking! She is still a little overwhelmed on where to start but they offer a class for beginners so she is going to go to one of those. You'll have to check out their website for this store! It is such fantastic place and the owner and staff is SO excited to share crafts with the public. www.treasuryofmemories.com.
Thanks again Elizabeth and Elke! We can't wait to plan another class with you for the mothers!
After Mommy finally dragged herself away from Treasury of Memories, Dylan went home to supper and then a pair of his new pajamas. He was definitely worn out and fell asleep right away when he was put to bed for Night Night. Not even a peep of protest! Guess he knows Grandpa B is coming up tomorrow and is planning for another big day. Night Night!

Dylan, you are such a cutie! I heard about you from your friend, Max... and any friend of Max's is a friend of mine! :) Keep up the good work, little guy!
