Here comes the paint!

Dylan has been very busy cleaning the new house and getting it ready for paint. Boy, can we tell you, the new house was very dirty....we're not just talking bad....it was BAD. Mommy is amazed that anyone can live with bathrooms like that. Did the guy even try to hit the toilet?

We were at the new house until 2am this morning getting it ready for a painter to come in and spray the whole house with primer. Tomorrow, he will come back and paint the ceilings and then on Sunday, a whole bunch of friends and family are coming over to help us tackle the wall colors. Mommy is running to Costco so we can feed everyone. You know, the essentials: hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, and beer.

As if the weekend wasn't busy enough, you should see next week! Monday, Daddy starts to put in the new wood flooring in the kitchen while Mommy packs up the old house. Tuesday brings the tile guy for the master bathroom and Wednesday the carpet is getting installed. Thursday we move the garage to a storage unit until our shop is built and Friday we begin moving in! Saturday we are finishing moving (again, our GREAT family and friends are coming in to help) and we also have to clean the old house. We relinquish our old house Saturday night.

We've included some pictures of the progress of the new house for you. You can't tell from the pictures, but let us stress again....it was BAD! Yuck.
