A quick update

Hi everyone! We are sorry to not have posted the past few days but it has been pretty hectic.
The transformation on the new house is miraculous to say the least. Yesterday, we had a painting party with family and friends to put the color on the walls and it has made a dramatic change to the house! We will post pictures within the next day or so. Thank you to everyone who helped out! You can't imagine how grateful we are for your kindness and time! It really was an all day event...

We still have lots to do. Today, the wood flooring is going in the kitchen and office. Tomorrow we are having linoleum installed in one bathroom and the utility room. Wednesday brings tile installation to the master bathroom and then we are having carpet put in on Thursday. Although we got much of the house painted, not all of it is done so we are having to paint more today. Particularly the master bathroom which hasn't been touched yet and then the rest is just touch-up.

Today also brings "school" for Dylan! Our favorite day of the week and then Dylan is going to hang with his buddy C from his class. He'll have a good time since they are going to the park if the weather permits. We also will see his teacher today who we actually saw yesterday! Mommy had a performance at a local church and Dylan's teacher, M, was singing! She has a BEAUTIFUL voice! Mommy is hoping to get her to perform with her sometime....hmm. Maybe (in her spare time) she can do a benefit concert with Mommy for Dylan's school? There's an idea.

We'll post pictures soon. Also, thanks to all who called and were concerned about how Mommy is doing during all this hard work.
