Simple Pleasures

Some things that you might not even really notice, I like to play with. For example, my favorite toy (other than Leap, my frog) is the mirror. I can sit and play with that other kid in the mirror for almost a good hour sometimes. I show him all my new tricks, talk to him, and kiss him. He is such a nice kid. Always paying attention and playing right along with me.

Another thing I like to play with is the pillow. I can bounce on it, toss it, and even crawl over it. Today, while Mommy changed the sheets on her bed, I was having a grand ole time with the pillow. Then I went into the playroom and told the kid in the mirror all about it! I even showed him my sign for "more."

Mommy and I also like to go on walks. This afternoon, we walked up and down our street looking at our neighbors gardens, donkeys, and horses. She even showed me the sign for "horse" again today which I'm still working on. On the way back to our house, Mommy picked me some blackberries which were all juicy and dribbled down my chin. I liked them and was quick to ask for "more."

Well, I'm off to bed. Hopefully, I'll sleep better than I did last night. I have a new tooth coming in and it hurt me a lot. Mommy held me a long time last night to help me get back to sleep and comfort my tears. Thanks Mom.
