1. What was your favorite thing about being a kid?

I loved camping and exploring the woods. We spent most of our summers up in the mountains so that is where I did most of my "growing up".

2. What was your favorite subject in school?

This one is pretty simple. I LOVE music. I went on to college to major in music and now perform professionally on the oboe. I've been playing the oboe since I was 7.

3. Who was your best friend when you were 10?

Lisa Zahnow. I last saw her at my wedding.

4. If you could be any animal what would you be?

Not really sure about this one. If I was an eagle, I could see the skies....but there are so many things I would want to be since there are so many different aspects of nature to explore.

5. What would you change about your school, occupation, life right now?

I'm pretty happy with things. I loved college (obviously since I spent 7 years there) and happy to have studied music. I have two great kiddos. I love being a Mommy. If I had taken a different path, this probably wouldn't have happened.

I'm also pretty lucky since I have always known what I wanted to do professionally and never had to question myself "what do I want to be when I grow up?" I did start playing the oboe at age 7 and haven't stopped since. In fact, I never was grounded as a kid. If I got in trouble, my parents took away my instrument.

6. What's your favorite color?

Green

7. What's your favorite type of crust and topping on a pizza?

Crust? I love cheese....so much so I even want it in the crust. Topping? I'm open with the exception of no onions. Yuck.
