Mommy is sick again. She has been fighting an infection for a few weeks but it got the better of her last night. High fever, swollen glands, headache, achiness all over...not fun. I had to laugh at her because she wore two sweatshirts, a pair of sweatpants, and wool socks to bed because she was so cold. She still has a little bit of a fever today and a headache but is doing better.
But it meant for a pretty rough night. Jonah wanted to eat at midnight and as soon as he went back to bed at 1am, I woke up crying because my mouth hurt. Mommy finally got to bed about 3am but then had to wake back up at 5am for Jonah. She got him back to sleep at 6am but when I woke up at 7am...she had had enough. She pulled out a movie, put me in my play saucer in front of the tv, and then climbed back into bed for another 30 minutes to catch just a little bit of sleep.
Hopefully, tonight will be a little better. She is taking asprin to keep the headache at bay and the fever down. Maybe by tomorrow she'll be better.

Oh kristy,
My heart goes out to you girl..I wish I was closer so I could come watch the kiddos and you could rest. I will say some heavy prayers the boys go down early tonight and you get some much needed and deserved rest.
