Silly Mommy

Mommy fell today. It's her fault too. I'm getting to be very mobile and there are just some rooms that Mommy doesn't want me in unsupervised. For example, the office is NOT childproof with computer wires everywhere, drawers with papers in them, etc. Since Mommy is sometimes busy with Jonah, she has put up baby-gates/blockades in a few rooms so that I don't get in them.

Well, Mommy also has been very lazy about them and instead of moving the baby gate when she enters one of those rooms....yep, with her long legs, she's been climbing over them. But today, she learned her lesson. She was climbing out of the office today holding Jonah and caught her foot on the gate. In order to protect Jonah, she let herself fall on her left knee and left wrist on the door jamb. Nothings broken except a little bit of pride and she's VERY mad at herself for doing something so stupid while holding Jonah!

But it means Mommy's a little sore, particularly her wrist. But Jonah is fine which is what is important and Mommy learned her lesson.

To make Mommy feel better, I decided to sit up next to a door jamb but lost my balance. I now have a goose-egg on my forehead. I didn't want her to be the only one to get hurt today. But Jonah can stay owie-free....two's company but three is a crowd.
