Mommy just about took our loving, sweet, and very playful puppies to the pound this morning. She loves our doggies and that is the only thing that spared a trip to puppy jail...
First, Elsa tripped Mommy this morning while she was carrying me. We were in the kitchen and Mommy had just told the dogs to stop playing because they were getting too excited. Normally, she would just let them out to run in the fields but with the construction going on, she couldn't today. So she told them to lay on their beds to calm down but instead of listening to her, Elsa ran right in front of her and tripped us. Mommy was carrying me into the kitchen and so when we fell, we hit the kitchen table and then onto the wood floors. I was so scared from the fall that Mommy thought I had gotten very hurt because I was screaming and crying so hard. She even called Daddy at work to tell him she was rushing us to the hospital! But as soon as she got off the phone, I started to calm down so she took off all my clothes (right there in the kitchen) and looked me over from head to toe. Ends up I was fine but not very happy at Elsa either. Mommy hurt her neck and back a little bit but that is because she twisted to try and protect me from the fall. She hit the table pretty hard. She suspects she is going to be very, very sore tomorrow.
The dogs knew right after that "incident" that they were in the dog house. They both ran to their beds and laid there until Mommy put them in my room and shut the door. She is so mad, that she is leaving them in there until Daddy comes home. But before she stuck them in there for the afternoon, she let them out for a little bit to go potty while the construction crew was gone for their lunch break. The dogs must've thought that all was good because they ran into the fields, did their business....and then wouldn't come back to the house when she called them. In fact, she had to go and get Elsa. Apparently they didn't learn their lesson because after she finally got them back into the house, they started rough-housing again. But this time, they knocked against Jonah who was in a swing on the floor. He is okay but let's just say the puppies are grounded.
Daddy, Mommy says you'll have to deal with them. She is really mad. No....really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really mad.

Kristy,
I hope this finds you feeling better and not so stiff and sore. I hope the dogs are now on their best behavior for you. And Dylan, I hope you know the doggies love you and sometimes they forget what they are doing.
Hope ya'll feel better
Hope Dylan and Mommy are feeling OK from your fall. I'm glad neither of you were hurt really bad. I'm sure you have some sore spots.
Hugs,
Carolyn in WV
