No Doctor Visit

Mommy called and talked with the doctor's office and our favorite nurses. They agree with Mommy that it is still a viral thing going on and that we are doing all the right things to help me feel better. For example, I got 3 hot baths yesterday and Mommy has been clapping my back every hour. That helps break things up in my lungs. I'm also having juice given to me every 5 seconds it seems. Since my fever is not going any higher, the doctors and nurses decided to see if I get better today. If not, we are off to see them tomorrow. But since Mommy is convinced it isn't a secondary infection, we'll try one more day at home before we go to the doctor's where I can be exposed to even more viral ickies.

But Mommy will freely admit, it has been a trying few days. Jonah is a little more "needy" and just wants to be held since he is starting to get sick. Everytime she puts him down, he starts to fuss so she is walking around the house doing things with one hand and holding him with the other. Makes things a little difficult.

I'm very cranky and need suctioning every hour to clear my nasal passages. Mommy actually wishes for our friend, Max's, suctioning device because the manual bulb thing that she is using takes way too long and isn't very accurate. I'm also tossing and turning all night long and so Mommy is up with me a good part of the night. And if I'm not keeping her up, Jonah has been wanting some attention too. Two nights ago, Mommy got 3 hours of sleep. Last night, maybe 4 hours. Daddy got up with me once last night too so she could get a little sleep but Jonah had other plans.

So we'll see how I'm doing later on today to see about going to the doctor. Hopefully, I'm somewhat better. The doctor and nurses have been very nice. They keep calling Mommy to see how Jonah and I are doing.

Jonah and I have to get better fast! Our cousin, Shiloh, is coming into town from Idaho to visit for the weekend.
