This morning I am going to get my Synergis shots to help protect me from RSV. And even though I don't like them, Mommy is super glad I qualified to receive them. One of my classmates, E, has just gotten out of the hospital after a very nasty bout of RSV. She is going to be fine but she was there for 10 days which also included spending her 2nd birthday there. Not the way I want to celebrate my birthday! Poor E!
Jonah and I are also still very snotty. Mommy's back is also still very sore so it will be an interesting weekend because Daddy will be out of town. I suspect some serious cuddle time on the floor surrounded by lots of pillows is in our future. We missed our Speech Therapy, our Occupational Therapy, and school this week because of this particular virus. Mommy is pretty frustrated and she thinks that people are beginning to wonder if she's making this all up. But our runny noses are the proof. She just hates sounding like a broken record when she calls to cancel yet another appointment.
But we are grateful that it is not RSV or anything serious. Glad you are home E and fully recovered soon!
