Aah!

That is what Mommy is saying, "AAH!" We gave her an interesting weekend which starts with...glad that one is over. Jonah and I both got new teeth this weekend. I got a new molar and Jonah got two front top teeth. Yep. You read that right. Three teeth in two days. No wonder Mommy is saying, "AAH~!"

Even though Jonah and I were both superstars in the cranky attitude department, we actually did get things accomplished this weekend. For one, Mommy and Daddy shampooed the carpets this weekend. Our puppies bring in lots of dirt so even though Mommy vacuums every day, we also shampoo the carpets twice a year. I'm not exactly the greatest drinker either. The living room was starting to smell like rotten milk. We originally borrowed Grandma and Grandpa's carpet shampoo but their machine wasn't working (or we didn't operate it correctly). So after a few hours of frustration, we rented one. We eventually finished the job and Mommy is happy that the living room isn't so stinky anymore.

And since we were moving furniture around anyway, why not clean the windows? For some reason, there were tiny handprints along all the windows of the house. Hmm. As soon as Mommy got the inside of the windows clean, she went to go get a ladder to clean the outside. But wouldn't ya know it, that is when thunder and lightning rolled right in. So, it's safe to assume Mommy decided to finish that task later.

Yesterday, Mommy and I went to Max's FABULOUS birthday party. We were over an hour late since I was playing sleeping beauty and decided to take an extra long nap. But we finally made it. Mommy was a little flustered because she absolutely hates being late (so over an hour is overwhelming to her) but when we got there, the party was still on. And we got to see our super online friend Ang! She looked great and Mommy was so excited to see her. She felt bad because she was still a little "off" from trying to get to the party before it ended. But Ang, Chelsea, and I got to play for a moment before they had to leave. That included a little photo opportunity involving Ang's camera. Ang has posted some very cute photos including the one I took myself! I have the cutest tongue, ever.(http://diariesofthismom.blogspot.com/)

Ang~ It really was great to see you and we can't wait until we can finally get together...sit down and talk, share stories, hear more about your trip and the aardvarks...you are so great and we can't wait until next time...

Max was an absolutely great birthday boy. He showed Mommy how awesome he is with his very handy walker and he had one of the coolest birthday cakes. It was a car and he even had a little car cake of his own. Now that is one VERY special friend who made it for them. And I thought it was pretty yummy too. Amy (Max's Mommy) is super-Mommy as far as we are concerned because she made specialized goody bags for all the kids attending. It was a bag decorated with a car on the front. Each car had it's own license plate for each child attending the party. Now how cool is that! Mommy says you are a superstar, Amy! Here are some pictures of my very thoughtful goody bag. Amy has also posted some great pictures from the party. Doesn't she and Max look fantastic? (http://mightymaxupdate.blogspot.com/)

Not only did we attend a exciting party this weekend but we also experienced every weather element imaginable. Hail, Thunder, Lightening, Downpours, Wind, and even Sun. The greatest part, it was sunny for Max's birthday party. It was like God stopped the storms just for that event. Then when the party concluded...He let it continue. Pretty amazing.

So new teeth, crazy weather, wild kids, and a clean carpet. That was our weekend in a nutshell. Can Mommy have a weekend from the weekend?
