Cough, Cough

No. That's not me coughing. It's Mommy. She's caught a cold and it can't be any worse timing! We have a HUGE week ahead of us which starts with my schools field trip to the beach. I went on this trip last year and it was so much fun. I loved playing in the tides and with the sand so we are praying extra hard that Mommy will be all better by tomorrow. We really, really, REALLY don't want to miss that!

Then, we are going to the Seattle Aquarium on Wednesday for Down syndrome Outreach. Mommy organized this trip so she really needs to feel better by then. Plus I get to see Grandma who is going to meet us there so we can enjoy the fish together! I love spending time with Grandma.

AND we are going on a family camping trip for three days! Daddy has Navy Reserves this weekend and there is a big BBQ planned for his unit. So rather than drive an hour each way in one day, Mommy decided to just take a tent-trailer that we borrowed and join Daddy for the weekend on Whidbey Island.

AND the Golf Classic that Mommy has been working so hard on to raise money for Children's Hospital is next Monday so there are all the last minute preparations that have to be done.

AND I'm supposed to have therapy on Thursday with E, my OT. I have been working extra hard on some very cool moves that I want to show her. For example, I can now officially take more than 5 steps (when I'm not thinking too hard about it). I can also get on....and off...the couch by myself. I have almost learned how to turn door handles (Mommy is dreading this one), can put small objects into this container Mommy made, and have started to use a spoon....kind of. But it is a GREAT start.

Then I have to get my glasses repaired (again)....and Mommy is definitely calling the doctor again about my little "episode" on Saturday where I stopped breathing.

It's a super-duper busy week. Get better Mommy. Quick!
