Busy, Busy, and more Busy

We've been having some very busy days around here. It starts with getting things ready for putting electricity out to Daddy's shop. Uncle Don and Daddy borrowed a 'ditch witch' to dig a very big trench that will run electrical from the house over to Daddy's new shop. The electricians are coming on Tuesday to hook everything up.

Then, we are staining our decks. You wouldn't think two not-so-big decks would take Mommy and Daddy very long, but it seems that the weather is against them. They are finally moving on it today and Daddy has finished the front deck and the back deck is looking much better.

Mommy has also been very busy with work related items. She got the newsletter for DsO put together and printed so they will be mailed out tomorrow or Wednesday. The invitations to all the models for the calendars went out, receipts to be sent to companies that have donated items for Goody Bags for the Buddy Walk in October, calls to make, and check requests. Lots and lots and lots...Mommy's friend, S, who used to do this job is amazing. How on earth did you get all this stuff done?!? But the Registration Packets are looking good for mailing next week, etc., etc. Phew.

Mommy did get to see Might Max at the office today. Amy (Max's Super Mommy) and my mommy work together. Max came for a brief moment while his Mommy looked up somethings for her job. But while Amy was busy, Mr. Max played with my mommy! And she had SO MUCH FUN! She is also very proud to have taught him "noses". She would point to his nose, then hers, and then they'd rub noses together. It was fun. And boy can Max dance! Mommy and Max boogied for a long time. Thanks for sharing that special moment with mommy Max! She had a great time and can't wait to see you again.

As for Jonah and I, we're doing our best to keep Mommy on her toes. She is calling our house The School of "Head Trauma 101". Jonah and I are both walking all over and having a great time. But we occassionally fall and bump our heads. Mommy can't believe how resilient we are. We fall. We cry. Then get back up and do it all again. We also got to show off our excellent walking skills yesterday at our friend E's birthday party. She had a 2 1/2 birthday party because she was in the hospital on her actual birthday. It was lots of fun and now everyone knows why Mommy is always on her toes. I'd walk one way toward the kitchen full of knives while Jonah headed the other way to the hot, hot, hot BBQ.

Gotta go! We promise pictures soon but for now, Jonah is heading toward a drawer and has a silly grin on his face. We'd better go check that out. Come on, Mom!
