What is this? Mommy put up some very creative 'roadblocks' to keep Jonah and I out of the kitchen. She has been trying so hard to keep it safe in there but we always seem to find something new. I just love to move the chairs over to the kitchen counter so I can actually climb ON to the counter. Jonah on the otherhand has become 'headbump extraordinaire' with the kitchen table.
So now the kitchen table chairs are effectively keeping me OFF the counters and away from stove burners, hot coffee pots, kitchen knives...
Add a coffee table and some toys...voila! A kid proof barricade that keeps Mommy happy, Jonah and I happy, and a little less worry when Mommy has to go to the bathroom. That's what started this whole furniture extravaganza. She went potty and came out to find me standing on the kitchen island! Now, she can do her business with a little less stress....who knew that would be left out of the parenting manual?
