Phew!

Mommy has been BUSY. Very busy. This week she went to a conference on early childhood development (mostly for care providers and teachers) and then was home one day before she headed south again. This time, Uncle Joe treated Mommy to a Mariners game...with TOTALLY AWESOME seats! We're talking 3rd baseline, a few rows up. It was her Mommy's day gift. Mommy has a message for Uncle Joe...

THANK YOU!!!!

While Mommy was at the baseball game, Jonah and I were keeping Grandma and Grandpa very busy. Jonah amazed Grandpa with his talent for unplugging one tv in the living room, turning off the tv in the kitchen, and helping with a little redocorating project by pulling off some wallpaper. All this in one minute flat. He's good. Grandma both gave us each our very own baths (Mommy normally makes us share) and we also watched the "Bee Movie". It was good times indeed...add the cookies, McDonalds dinner, and a sugar buzz equates to one very exhausted set of Grandparents. Mommy normally doesn't allow us to have sugar but that didn't stop Grandma from giving us Oreo cookies. We were bouncing on the bed like little monkeys and keeping their cat on high alert! Bet Grandma and Grandpa sleep good tonight.

As for Daddy, he's been on Graveyard shifts for the past few days so he's got his days all mixed up with his nights. Tonight is his last night for a while and he was such a trooper while Mommy was gone. He took care of us kiddos while Mommy was at this conference and then shampooed the carpet while Mommy was watching baseball (did we mention the totally awesome seats?). Yep. He earned a "good Daddy" award for this week and his reward is a day of a little shut-eye before he comes back to a normal schedule once again.

This new week is a very quiet one. Mommy has lots of stuff for her work to do and it is supposed to be very nice weather. So she's hoping to get a little work done in the yard. Jonah and I are planning our very own garden. Thanks again to Uncle Joe, Grandma, and Grandpa. Also, Happy Mother's Day to everyone. Mommy's are the best. Unless they are giving you a time-out but we digress...
