Medical Week

After a very busy weekend for Mommy (she had those crazy concerts she was freaked out over - went well), we are now looking at a new week. It's a busy one too. Tomorrow I start with school pictures. I missed the first one because I was sick so these are actually the make-up pictures.

Monday, Mommy is going to be at home with Jonah who will be helping her put bark in a flower bed. Mommy is going to be thinking of Grandpa cause he's gonna have surgery on Monday so Jonah's going to have to put in some extra work to keep her on task.

Wednesday is when we make the drive down to Seattle for another echo at Children's Hospital. We're going to see how my Mitral Valve is doing and if I get a reprieve from heart surgery for at least another 6 months or so.

Thursday, I get to see my awesome Speech Therapist (SLP) who is making fantastic progress with me. Want to know her secret? Kick Mommy out of the room. She's too distracting (my brother also). Since we've discovered that I do much better with Mommy looking in on me from another room via one-sided glass, I am completely focused on my therapist. She has gotten me to do some pretty amazing things lately. For example, put a vibrating toothbrush in my mouth (AMAZING for a kiddo with oral aversion issues) and I'm starting to say new words....UP is a good one.

Please say a little prayer for my Grandpa as he has his surgery tomorrow. We'll let you know how he's doing. LOVE YOU GRANDPA. Get better soon. You'll be UP before you know it.

Dylan, We will be thinking about you during your echo tomorrow. Hopefully it goes well and they can see what they need to see.

And we will think of your grandpa also, we hope he does okay too.

love to the gilligs!

Wow! A vibrating toothbrush! Way to go, D!

We'll be thinking of you tomorrow at your echo and of Grandpa that he recovers well.
