My First Special Olympics Event!

This past Monday, I got to participate in my very first Special Olympics event. It was a one-day introduction for younger individuals with developmental disabilities and it was held at my school. My friends Kaden, Cooper, Eva, and Max were there too! We all had fun after some initial hesitations and one of Mommy's favorite parts was to watch Ms. Eva dance with scarfs. She is TOO cute and Mommy wants me to marry her someday.

The other great thing about this Special Olympics event was that Daddy got to come too. He took the day off so he could join Mommy and me.

We loved the Special Olympics event and can't wait to participate again next year. I also love my gold medal. We all got one and boy did we deserve it! We worked hard at all those events which included soccer, balance, scarf tossing, football, and tennis. I was TIRED afterwards but very happy. Thanks Special Olympics. You are appreciated.

Here is Daddy and me playing the abbreviated version of 'football'.
I love my Daddy and thanks Mrs. I (my teacher) for passing along this picture.
