To get to our house, of course! On Saturday, as Mommy was walking out the door to go to the Down syndrome Outreach New Baby Reception, she happened to glance over and see our puppies cautiously running after something. A big something. So she went over to take a look and that is when she discovered that they were chasing a turkey. A very big turkey. So after much, much running and chasing after the puppies and finally getting them penned up, she went to visit the neighbors.
It ended up being a turkey that belonged up the road. Except the guy didn't want it back. The turkey apparently was causing problems with the other turkeys (fighting) and so our neighbor let it go. Asked if he minded that our dogs were chasing it, he just shrugged his shoulders.
So we now have a residential turkey. We named him Gobble. And it ends up that Gobble doesn't have to worry about the dogs. They are afraid of him and if they get too close, he can fly. He was just teasing the dogs by running through the field.

If that bugger starts riding Ray's 4-wheelers I'm out of here!!!
Dylan, What do you think of the turkey?? I think I would run the other way.
