We took over a hundred pictures and we'll certainly share more later. But the 4th Annual Buddy Walk of Whatcom County was a spectacular. Mommy estimates that there were over 450 people there and all in support of me!...okay, in support of Down syndrome. The County Executive was there to proclaim it Down syndrome Awareness day for Whatcom County and the City of Bellingham and a self advocate speaker, Rachael, was a big highlight of Mommy's day.
Guess what else happened? My friend, Mighty Max, came and he walked the whole 1.25 mile walk! It was so great to see him cross the finish line too! Congratulations Max! And thank you Sarah and Evan, who were also there! It was great to meet you and Mommy hopes to be able to spend more time with you next time. Evan, you're a cutie (according to Mom).
Thank you everyone who came to the walk! It really was a big success and your being there in support really meant so much to us. Watch out for later. We'll try to post more pictures.

Dylan,
That's a great shot of you crossing the finish line. I'm sorry we didn't get to meet you and Jonah in person. Your mommy did a super-fantastic job coordinating this event. In spite of the weather, there were TONS of people out--very impressive!
Hugs,
Sarah & Evan
