Daddy showed up on Friday night and so we had a movie night with lots of cuddling. It was great to lay out all the cushions from the couch and all four of us all piled on. Daddy was a great cushion too. We watched Ratatuoille which was okay but a little long for us kiddos. Then on Saturday, Mommy had a rehearsal and then we played games, showed Daddy all our toys (we are into taking all of our toys out of our playroom and into the living room) one-by-one, and then we sang lots of songs. Since I'm still a little snotty, we decided to stay inside even though it was a beautiful day outside.
On Sunday, Mommy had a concert and Daddy went to watch. We then had chili and listened to a big wind storm come rolling in. Mommy loves wild weather and it was funny to watch her getting ready for the storm. But pretty soon it was time for bed and then Daddy left early this morning. He is gone until next week.
It was very stormy out today so Mommy cleaned bathrooms, did laundry, and watched the wild wind with us. We had a number of trees fall in our neighborhood so it was a very exciting storm. It was so wild and crazy that Mommy had to go out and rescue our slide and even the snowmobile trailer got moved around a bit before Mommy stabilized it. The news reports said we had wind gusts over 60 miles an hour and even had a few in the 90's! 97 mph was the highest and we don't doubt it. It was wild and crazy. Very exciting...according to Mommy.
