Big plans for Saturday

Dylan is going to be Daddy's little helper tomorrow. Ray has lots of little projects (such as putting on the doors, hanging lights, putting in the trim, fixing the pump house...) and so the work begins. Mommy is making some headway on unpacking but hopes to have even more accomplished by tomorrow afternoon. So that meant that today, Dylan helped Mommy do all the chores that were needed to free things up for the projects ahead. We went to the grocery store, went to Lowe's, and the mall to return a couple of rugs. Fun stuff...well, not really. But we did get everything accomplished and had time to play for a couple of hours. And then, we had a super fun bath! Bathtime is definitely Dylan's favorite part of the day.

After he helps Daddy install some lights and a new closet system in the master bedroom, Dylan is off to party it up. Yep, he's going to a birthday party for his buddy, Max, who turned one yesterday. Dylan has been talking about it all day and we are very excited to celebrate our friend's great accomplishments. For those who don't know, Max and Dylan became buddies while they were at Children's Hospital. Dylan was in for his heart surgery and Max was in for....well pretty much everything including his very own heart surgery too. We were very excited to meet them while we were down in Seattle and even more excited when we learned that they lived in Bellingham also! We can't wait to wish Max a Happy Birthday.
