The move is almost upon us!

We take possession of the new house on Wednesday! Wow! Things are moving fast. And because things are really going now, Dylan is quite busy. For example, he picked out paint today for his new bedroom and playroom while Mommy and Daddy figured out the rest of the house. Dylan also helped his parents get the carpet and flooring situated with Uncle Ronny's help. Then, there is taking care of things at the old house....making calls to utility companies, insurance companies, finishing up the inspection lists, etc. Did we mention we are still packing?

As if that were not enough, Dylan also went to school today! He saw his good buddy C and had his first Vanilla Wafers. Apparently, he wasn't too keen on them at first but after a while warmed up to them. He must have figured out they had sugar in it or something. Given all that happened (school and errands) in the morning, it's no wonder he had a 3 hour nap! While he had his marathon nap, Mommy tackled the weeds that flourished in the backyard after all that rain. Phew! What a mess.

But we are very excited about tomorrow. We have our first speech therapy appointment with Harriet! Dylan has been talking about it all day. He's practicing his signs (especially for milk) and working hard on pronouncing "DaDa" just right. He wants to make a good first impression, you know. Maybe she'll be able to help him with his "MaMa". We'll have to see.
