Quiet Day and Mommy GETS SOME SLEEP!!!!

Mommy got some rest this morning! Hooray! She was up all night with Jonah (from 2am until 5am and then again at 6am) so when 7am rolled around, she handed Jonah and me to Daddy. Then she went right back to bed and slept until noon! She feels SO much better. Phew. She seems to think that she is making some headway with our night obsessed little Jonah so hopefully, more sleep is on the horizon.

So after the playful morning with Daddy, Mommy and us kiddos actually had a quiet afternoon. Mommy is starting to workout again although she misses her running. She can't run with us two kids and the doctor says she isn't quite ready for that yet. She is hoping that she can start running in October pending Daddy's schedule. We'll see. Daddy is scheduled to leave for Italy in October for his Navy Reserves so her running plans might be set further back. But to make up for the lack of running, Mommy has started Pilates. She says it is kicking her out-of-shape butt and she is combining that with some walks to get her cardio going. She has been working out for a few days and she is starting to feel the effects. Hopefully, this weight she gained with Jonah will be history before you know it.

We did have one accident today. Daddy put me down for a nap and changed my diaper right before that. When Mommy went in to check on me, the diaper had come completely off and there was a very messy scene waiting for her in my crib. So the laundry got started and I got an early bath. I normally take my baths after dinner but as I stated earlier, it was a very, very messy scene.

I also had a very good dinner. Mommy made me ravioli and guess what? It didn't end up on the floor! I actually LIKED it. Hooray...something we can agree on at the dinner table. What a relief.

So that is our day so far. Mommy's doing laundry, playing with us kiddos, feeding us kiddos, the ever-present diaper changes, etc. We are looking forward to tomorrow since I am now a model in a calendar and I am attending a "calendar release" party. But Mommy will fill you in on that a little bit later. Let me just state this....you are going to want this calendar! Get the checkbook ready!

Have a good night~ Dylan
