Back Home and Back To Normal

We are home and I'm happy to report that all is normal. Mommy has lots of laundry and work to do, I'm picking on Jonah like a wild boy, and we even had a dead mouse to greet our return. Everything is definitely back to normal.

As for the dead mouse, our good friends who were watching the animals for us caught it this morning. Proof that my Auntie Jen is one tough girl and apparently quicker than the dogs to catch mice 'cause she's the one that caught it. It was a field mouse and was not in the house (we sincerely hope). Since we live with lots of fields around us, this will be an ongoing adventure. Mommy says those new kitties had better start earning their keep!

I'm feeling better today. I'm a little cranky but Mommy has noticed an improvement in my hearing. I acknowledge her when she has something to say to me. Hopefully, this is a good sign of some fantastic things to come.

Well, I'm off. Got some cars to race in the kitchen. Thank you Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncle Joe for everything over the last few days. Thank you Auntie Jen and Uncle Don for spoiling the puppies and kitties (plus showing them how mice catching is done!). We love you all lots.
