Daddy's HOME!

Hooray! After almost all summer of Daddy being away, he is finally back! We have missed him SO much and are very excited to be together as a family. Daddy was away training with the Navy for his extra special promotion to a Navy Chief. For you non-Navy folks, that is a big accomplishment. He finally graduated from his training and was officially promoted on Tuesday. Congratulations Daddy and Mommy says that you look pretty snazzie in the khaki uniform.

As for Mommy, she's very relieved that he's home. She is awfully proud of Daddy and his accomplishment but had a horrible time while he was gone. She missed him lots and has also been extremely busy. She has been planning our local Buddy Walk and a concert featuring Chris Burke. Plus managing things at home all by herself...aka us two sometimes very trying toddlers. Jonah also chose these last few weeks to suddenly stop sleeping through the night and having terrible temper tantrums that can last for hours. She's pretty exhausted and was starting to enter the 'Dark Side'. For those other mothers of small kiddos, you know exactly what I'm talking about.

This weekend we'll have lots of Daddy time and let him get caught up on his sleep. It is going to be nice having him around. We love him lots and can't wait for some serious Daddy cuddles.

Congratulations Daddy and Welcome Home.
We love you.

PS. Mommy wants to send an extra deluxe, super-sized, special delivery of a Thank You to the Porret family. Mommy is very grateful for your friendship and support. Also to Grandma and Auntie Jen for their help while she went in to the office. You all are pretty awesome. Thanks again. And again. And again....
