Easter

Easter was very nice. We started our day with opening baskets that were waiting for us when Jonah and I woke up. Jonah got lots of coloring supplies while I got more cars. Jonah loves to color (especially on the walls) and I love to push my cars around.

After opening our baskets, we went to church where our friend and pastor gave a very moving sermon. It made Mommy and Daddy cry. He talked about advocacy and how a true advocate for all of us is Jesus. The sermon was especially touching because Pastor Ryan talked about how his son, Kaden, also has Down syndrome. It wasn't until Kaden was born that Ryan understood what being an advocate meant and how great it was that Jesus was our advocate just like his family is an advocate for Kaden. It was sincerely a very beautiful and touching sermon.

Then, we headed south and had an Easter Egg Hunt at Grandma and Grandpa's. It was super fun. Uncle Joe threw us boys around, carried us like sacks of potatoes, and made us giggle. Lots. We love our Uncle Joe.

Then we had a nice Easter Dinner that Grandma made. Jonah and I were undecided about the ham but the jello salad was YUMMY! In fact, we ate all of ours and Grandma's! Thanks Grandma.

After dinner, we hung out then it was time to go home. We had a wonderful Easter and thanks again to Ryan, Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncle Joe.
