Mommy has learned a very big lesson that she thought she'd pass along to all the other Mommy's out there. Do you want to know what will get nail polish, especially hot pink, out of the light beige carpet? It's Goof Off!
Yep. Jonah decided to open one of Mommy's nail polish bottles while she was distracted talking with Auntie Jen who came over for a visit. Luckily, Auntie Jen ran to her work (she works at TruValue...great place and VERY good paint!) where she grabbed a very big bottle of Goof Off. For the next twenty minutes, she and Mommy scrubbed the carpet with the stuff. For those that don't know, Goof Off is very potent so that combined with the paint that Mommy is putting up on the living room walls, we are feeling a little woozy.
Don't worry, all the windows are now open and the hot pink nail polish is pretty much history. There is a slight bit of evidence although compared to the fact that a whole bottle was dumped...that's pretty amazing. So thanks Auntie Jen for just happening to be there and coming to our rescue. We love you.
