Daddy came home for the weekend! It was great. He tucked us into bed on Friday night and stayed all the way until very early Monday morning. We had a great time with him which was made even better on Sunday when we went to our friends, the P family, for dinner. We LOVE, LOVE, LOOOOOVEEEEE the P family and are very excited that their daddy is home safely from Iraq. Dinner was fantastic and saying that we ate a lot is a bit of an understatement.
Monday was spent catching up on laundry and playing outside. Then today Mommy was busy canning veggies from the garden. She made homemade tomato sauce, whole kernel corn, and tomorrow will be about apples, plums, more tomatoes, and more corn! She is also making a chocolate zucchini bread that she'll freeze.
Tomorrow night we head over to our Uncles house for a little while. We are celebrating another uncles 40th birthday! Happy Birthday Uncle Robin!
