And So On

The illness continues in our house. Daddy is much better and was most likely just worn down from working a lot. He got some (although not nearly enough) much deserved rest over the last couple of days and caught up on some football games and reading. Jonah seems to be much better as well although does seem to pop a temperature every once in a while. So while he is on the mend, he's not quite over this bug.

I on the other hand am a completely different story. Mommy is worried. I woke up from my nap today hotter than ever and seem in and out of it. I'm laying on the couch under lots of covers and Mommy can't get me to eat or drink. I also have developed a junky cough. She thinks we'll be heading in to the doc later today or early tomorrow. Problem is, Mommy is sick too (she woke up with a fever and cough this morning). Since this seems to be a definite flu-like illness, Daddy will most likely have to take me in since the hospital and medical offices are taking precautions about spreading the flu around.

This is a very nasty, nasty bug. Ugh. Seems like movies, reading books, juice, tylenol, and lots of cuddles on the couch shall continue.

One more update is that Daddy is back to work at the Corrections department until the Navy gets the paperwork situated. They told us it will be at least 2 weeks until they can get everything in order. Not wanting to wait around doing nothing, Daddy went back to work at the jail for a little bit so he wasn't out of work while waiting for his orders to be resubmitted.
